The Nutcracker
Around forty young dancers from the school on stage, joined by guest étoiles, for an evening offered to the Monegasque public.
On 27 June 2026, the students of Ananyan Ballet danced The Nutcracker at the Théâtre des Variétés in Monte-Carlo, alongside guest étoiles. The evening was co-presented with the Aleksandr Savchuk Foundation.
Around forty children, aged seven to fourteen, were on stage. For most of them it was the first time dancing in front of a real audience, with lights, recorded orchestra, and a curtain going up.
What stays with us is not the technical achievement. It is the moment a child understands, in the middle of the stage, that the year’s work was for something.
