Looking back on The Nutcracker
Around forty children on the stage of the Théâtre des Variétés, for the school's first large evening.
The evening of 27 June will stay with us as the school’s first large outing. Around forty students, aged seven to fourteen, danced The Nutcracker at the Théâtre des Variétés, joined by guest étoiles, in front of a full house.
Many of them were discovering everything at once: the stage, the lights, the wait in the wings, and that particular silence just before the music starts. They held it.
Thank you to the families, who supported months of rehearsals, and to the Aleksandr Savchuk Foundation, which co-presented the evening.
